By accessing or using AI LEGAL ASSISTANT ("the Service", "we", "our", or "the Platform") at ailegalassistant.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using AI LEGAL ASSISTANT, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
AI LEGAL ASSISTANT is an AI-powered legal information platform that provides users with legal strategies, document templates, dispute letter generators, document analysis tools, business registration guidance, and legal document translation services.
The Service is available as a web application accessible at ailegalassistant.org. Certain features require a paid subscription or credits. We offer a free trial with 25 credits and no credit card required.
We continuously update and improve the Service. Features may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information to keep it accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@ailegalassistant.org.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are used for any illegal purpose. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our sole discretion.
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered analysis tools. The cost per analysis varies by module (generally 25 credits; Credit Report Analysis costs 100 credits). Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
Subscription plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Credit packs are available for purchase separately. Purchased credits do not expire during an active account but may expire after 90 days of account inactivity. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to harass, harm, or threaten any individual, to generate content intended to facilitate actual crimes or harm, or to attempt to circumvent any security measure or access controls.
You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without express written permission. Agency Reseller accounts are an exception and must adhere to separate Reseller Terms provided upon activation.
You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that puts excessive load on our infrastructure. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block access from users who abuse the Service.
The Service, including its design, code, content, AI models, and branding, is owned by AI LEGAL ASSISTANT and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Documents, letters, and content generated by the AI for your specific case are granted to you for personal use. You may use them in your own legal matters without restriction. However, you may not resell or publish AI-generated outputs as your own original work.
You retain ownership of any documents, text, or files you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
LEGAL AI ASSISTANT IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. The information, strategies, documents, and outputs generated by the Service are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.
No attorney-client relationship is formed through your use of this Service. For matters involving significant legal consequences, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI-generated legal strategies will succeed in any particular case.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI LEGAL ASSISTANT, its directors, employees, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described therein.
Documents you upload for analysis are processed in memory and are not permanently stored beyond what is necessary to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting support@ailegalassistant.org.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@ailegalassistant.org. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and any unused credits will be forfeited unless otherwise specified in our Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
Following account termination, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, for up to 90 days.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Given the global nature of our Service (195+ countries), disputes shall first be subject to good-faith mediation.
If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against AI LEGAL ASSISTANT.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit your rights as a consumer under the applicable consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
